This past week, the season of autumn officially started for me, as I enjoyed my first pumpkin spice latte from a popular coffee dispensary. It was magical and instantaneously put me in the mindset of fall. The weather in Ohio has helped fuel those vibes as well, with cooler temperatures in the evenings and mornings and a very harvest-looking moon.
Whoa, tap the brakes! It is still officially summer, and the meteorological forces at hand are now reminding us of that, as another heat wave sweeps the nation. Just as I started thinking of falling leaves and robust pumpkins of the season, reality set in with a swoop of hot air and rising temperatures. Guess I’ll take a rain check on the start of fall.
